Dear Christopher,
Thank you for your recent article "Ignore Swine Flu Hysteria: 5 Reasons NOT to get The Swine Flu Vaccine . . . and 5 Things You Can Do To Promote Health During Flu Season"
I have enjoyed reading this and have forwarded it along to patients, friends, family and colleagues. The importance of getting adequate sleep, the right nutrition, proper exercise and hygiene to keep the immune system working well is essential! As is lowering stress. Education is the key. And this is what I emphasize with my patients. Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine are another great tool to assist the whole person to maintain balance and a healthy immune system.
I really appreciate your post and will continue to pass this along.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Reid, L.Ac.

Where the mind leads, the body will follow. The body is but an instrument of the mind. Allow your mind to lead an orchestra of good health.

Let us also not forget the significant role spirituality plays in shaping the mind to lead the body.

The comments you make, Christopher, seem too good and simple to be true. Yet I experienced this "phenomena" just the other day. My body actually craved salad. I don't think in 48 years my body has ever shouted "salad! I want more salad". But if I listen, my bodies will tell me what it needs. In addition, food is yummy and when it's yummy I want more. Interesting though...my mind wants more. Of course, it does. It tastes good. But I am learning that my body will say, "Thanks for the yummy food...but I am full. I'm done". I'm listening to my body more and more each day in a way I never did before.

Your writings are spot-on. Thank you for your insight.
